Orofacial Pain
This book "Orofacial Pain: Diagnosis and management" essentially serves this very purpose. Many components of the dissertation address etiology, epidemiology, and diagnosis to assist in guiding the clinician and formally develops approaches to classification and measurement of orofacial pain and pain syndromes; and it concludes with treatment, management, and therapy modalities towards the multitude of aspects related to oral and facial pain. A broad table of contents inclusive of addressing fundamentals (anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology), proper assessment and classification of orofacial pain, along with both pharmacology and non-pharmacologic treatment approaches have been discussed. It should prove to be an essential tool in the armamentarium of those involved in the care of people suffering from orofacial pain syndromes in the developing and developed countries alike.
